Split peas (fava) from Cyclades

Ingredients
500gr. Split peas
2 chopped dried onions
Salt
1 Lemon
Oregano
2 tbsp capers
5 tbsp olive oil


Method
Sauté for a while onion, and then put the split peas with some water. When it starts to boil I remove the foam from the pot with a spoon. Cook in low temperature, add salt and let cook until it is softened. Once I remove it from the fire, I put it in the blender and slur it to get a better touch. Serve in a deep dish and add a chopped onion, caper, lemon, oregano and 2 tbsp olive oil.
